About Paulus

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up in New Berlin. Since I was young I have always been interested in Computers and the Paranormal. I attended New Berlin Eisenhower Middle/High School and Waukesha North High School. I’m currently enrolled at Pewaukee campus of the Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) pursuing a degree in Computer Programming. I graduated in May of 2007.

I’m currently working at a local computer retail chain located through out South Eastern Wisconsin. I’m working as a Technician but hope to make the transition to a Software Developer soon.

I’ve been programming since I was about eight, writing small programs mostly as a hobby. It was only a couple years ago that I decided that I really wanted to do it as a profession. My main Operating System of choice is Linux and have been using Linux since 1999 when I bought a book about Red Hat Linux 5.2. After falling head over heels with it I’ve tried other distributions such as Mandrake, now known as Mandrevia, Slackware, Caldera, Debian, until finally settling on Gentoo about 4 years ago. I am still familiar with Microsoft’s Languages such as Visual Basic 6 and .NET 2005 and Visual C++.

When I’m not at a computer I enjoy reading about the Paranormal, which has been something I’ve been interested in for the past 17 years. I’ve traveled as far North Maribel, WI, as far West as Moscow, ID and as far South as Houston, TX in search of UFOs and Ghosts. I’m not proving to anyone that there is life after death or that there are in fact aliens out there. I’m proving to myself that things aren’t what they seem.
